Yes, I know, I know it has been a long time... but we are all still alive and things are starting to level out. For those of you you don't know by now, we sold our house back in August after being on the market for only 3 weeks!! This was a huge blessing but on the other hand we were not prepared to move out that fast. We have since moved in with Connie and John (Scott's parents) and have lived with them since August 4th. We are in the process of building a home in Graystone Hills off of Longmire in Conroe. It has been so stressful picking everything out for the house but as of yesterday that is all over. We are finally done and should see things start to pick up very quickly. So blogging has been on the back burner. I will try to catch up with pictures throughout the next couple of weeks.
So to start off we just returned from a ski trip to Winter Park, Colorado with our friends Travis and Kay. We had a wonderful snow filled trip as you will see!
One of the days we decided to go tubing on a mountain. It was so much fun, except for when Travis took off with all four of us connected and my feet weren't all the way out of the tube yet!!
This is Twabis drivin' the mini! Safety First!!! Scott and Travis loved this souped up Chrysler Minivan. They pushed every button know to man in the mini and bragged about how awesome it was. Kay and I were sure that by the end of the trip one of us was going to end up with a new minivan in our driveway. Luckily for us that hasn't happened yet.
Kay and I made it to the bottom of the mountain by skiing Village Way all the way to the bottom. Did I mention that Twabis took us (he says he was an accident) down a blue. Yeah not so much fun, I have a bruise to prove it.
Scott and I all done at the bottom of the mountain.
We stayed in a Condo and this was the view from our bedroom window when we woke up every morning. It was absolutely beautiful.
This was our last day in Winter Park and instead of skiing Kay and I froze our tail feathers off when we decided to ride the gondola and go shopping!
Our last day there we all went to the spa (for the second time) and Scott and I had our first facials. We loved it! We also decided to drive on into Denver for the night because the weather was starting to get bad and we didn't want to get stuck on the mountain. We stopped along the way and ate at our favorite restaurant, The ChartHouse.
