Poor Aunt Bamber!

Aunt Bamber has been so sick! She has ran 101 to 102 temperature all weekend long. It is hard being sick and not feeling good but especially hard when you have a baby to take care of. Lane has been praying for Amber and was so upset when he saw her blog and saw that she was sick. He said "Awe, Bamber has the atchews."

Amber is going to be going back to the doctor today and now Caden is showing some signs of being sick so he may be going to the doctor as well. Please pray for them that God will touch them and allow them to rest and their health be restored soon.

"I love you Aunt Ambie and hope you feel better soon!"
(Notice his new nickname for Aunt Bamber.)

Hope you feel better soon. We are praying for you.

Lane and the LolliPop

A couple of weeks ago we had some friends visiting from out of town and Mom and Dad kept the kids while we went to eat. Gi Gi bought Lane a big ole' lollipop and Lane is still not done eating it. He keeps it in a big ziploc bag and takes it out every now and then to suck on.

In the words of Lanerbugs, "Delicioso."

Poppa trying to get Lane to look at the blue sucker dot on his nose!

Let Me See!

Scott was on the floor the other night with the laptop and Miss Nosey Rosey was driving him crazy wanting to see what he was doing. Anytime we have the laptop out she is always trying to push the buttons or see what's going on. Scott pushed her aways several times and finally gave up.

"Hey DaDa whatcha doin'?"

"Oh really that sounds fun. Let me take a look."

"Well maybe if I climb on top of it I can see it better. I'm sure you don't mind."

"Okay. Fine, I'll leave you alone. I just wanted to aggravate."

Spidy the Bug Catcher!

Lane has always had a "passion" for catching bugs since he was a very little boy. He has a habit of going into the pantry, getting my plastic containers, taking them outside and filling them with rollie pollies aka pill bugs. Then he brings them inside without the lid on them and I freak out when I see them crawling around everywhere. His latest trend is to go outside and catch butterflies put the lid on to keep them from flying out and bringing them inside. Then he forgets about them and the next day they are obviously no longer flying because they are dead.

So... I had a little talk with him and told him that it was okay to catch butterflies but he just needed to babysit them for a while and then turn them loose. So yesterday he caught one and put a flower in the container for it to land on and gave it a Ritz cracker in case it got hungry. Late yesterday evening he let it go outside. When he came back in he said "Mom do you know why I let the butterfly go?" I said "No. Why?" He responded "God told me in my heart that I had to let it go and that I could catch it again tomorrow." I said "Well that is so sweet. You are a good animal rescuer." (That is what he wants to be when he grows up.) Kids are amazing and Lane never ceases to amaze me!

"See my beautiful butterfly!"

Did you get that on Camera?

Avery Ella now has a habit of knocking over all of the movies in the movie rack and playing with them. It is so much fun for Mommy to pick them all up, let me tell ya! So I caught her on camera doing it.

"That was so fun, I better crawl away with a
big smile like nothing ever happened before Mommy sees me."

"Oops. Hi Mom. Look at this cute lil' innocent smile.
I didn't do anything."

"What? You got that on camera? Let me see."

Pesty Lil' Sis

Lane is such a good big brother. The poor child cannot even eat his cereal on the floor anymore because lil' Miss Avery Ella is into everything! So he thought he would be smart by getting on the couch but now she has learned to pull up on the couch and try to reach his cereal that way. He asked me if he could give her some and I told him not yet because she might choke.

"Umm...excuse me. Can I help you Bellas?"

So I gave him her puffs so he could feed those to her while he was trying to eat.

"Here, I will feed you your puffs if your just
going to stand there and beg like a dog."
